What this site does with data, in plain language. Short version: it stores nothing about you unless you ask it to, and measurement runs only if you agree.
1. Controller

2. Server logs
Our hosting provider records the usual technical data when a page is requested: IP address, time, requested address, referrer, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the page and to defend against attacks, and rests on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. These logs are not used to profile visitors and are deleted on the provider’s schedule.
Hosting is provided by Hostinger International Ltd., Cyprus, as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR.
3. Fonts and other assets
All fonts are hosted on this domain. No request leaves for a font server or an icon service while you read. This is deliberate: a remote font request would transmit your IP address to a third country before you had been asked anything. One exception is named rather than glossed over: the subscription form loads a small script from Hostinger, the provider of the email list described below, and that request happens on every page.
4. Measurement, only after you agree
This site can measure reach with Google Analytics 4, operated by Google Ireland Ltd. It is switched off until you accept it, and switched off means the script is not there. Since 6 September 2026 the analytics script is fetched from Google only after you click accept; before that it loaded on every visit with storage held at denied, which meant no cookie and no identifier, but Google still saw the request. If you have not decided, or have declined, no request goes to Google at all.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data, including a shortened IP address, to produce aggregate statistics. Legal basis: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and §165(3) TKG 2021. Data may be transferred to the United States on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future, using the button at the end of this page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
5. Cookies
Without your consent this site sets no cookies beyond what is strictly necessary. Your consent decision itself is stored locally in your browser, not on our server, so that you are not asked again on every page.
6. Email you send us
If you write to us, we process your address and your message to answer it, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. We keep the correspondence as long as needed for the matter and for statutory retention periods.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw a consent you gave. Write to info@realquantum.ai. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, for example the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate or the authority where you live.
8. Change your decision

If you subscribe, your email address is stored so that we can send you a message when a new article is published. That is the only purpose.
